In normal play the zombies are not that aggresive. The zombies in Deadside killed me way faster because they continuesly sapped my life as I run by them. The problem that I have with the Steam Version is that some parts of the game is almost unplayable to play through. The game just won't restrict itself to run at the intended speed needed instead on just basing on your PC. Sometimes it plays way faster than normal. The main problem with Modren PCs today running this game is the game's speed. Because of that I find that it will create a few anomalies within the game that is beyond our control. The Steam version sort of ignores the kind of specs your pc has. How does the Steam version compare to the GOG version ?
